Scott's parents bought a house out in South Carolina during our last trip there, and they had some furniture that they wanted to haul out there. Scott was the blessed chosen one that was selected to drive/ride 40 hours cross country. So, on one early Thursday morning Scott and his dad saddled up the U-haul and started their trek. They both decided the USA is a very beautiful country from mid-Kansas on. They do not recommend Wyoming or wish it upon their worst enemies (Sorry, mom and dad... Scott's words, not mine!!!) He had a pretty quick trip once he got there, but had a great time spending time with Kimi and fam. He also got to visit with one of the admissions counselors at the medical school out there that we have high hopes of getting into. It was definitely the longest time that we have been apart, and I was so happy when he got back! When he flew in I told him I would pick him up outside the airport, but really I parked and went in by the baggage claim. It was so fun to surprise him! There were definitely some tears on my end, and he had to stay by my side the rest of the day. He even came to young women's with me. Here are some pictures of his experience:

Kimi and Scott on Isle of Palms

Scott and his dad went fishing early in the morning, and there weren't too many fish to be found. However, they did catch one of nature's beauties... a horseshoe crab. This picture is Scott's dad holding the cute little critter, and the one below it is a picture of it's underside. Apparently these things date back to prehistoric times, and have not evolved at all since then... obviously. So, eat it Darwin.
