we love the beach

We try to go to the beach anytime we can (we live about 10-15 minutes away), so here are a collection of pictures from our meanderings at the waterfront:). Scott and I are trying to take up boogie boarding, but we don't have any pictures of that, yet. We have to perfect our art.

Our niece, Kim, and I in front of the glorious Atlantic Ocean.
Lots of cool shells to find:)

Playing in the water. It's nice and warm. Just very salty, so keep your mouth closed if you're going in.
Kim and I went on a bike ride, and we passed by a boy who caught this little beaut on his fishing line right off the shore.
Doesn't that make you want to swim in the ocean?

This picture is from a restaurant that is right on the water of Charleston Harbor. If you own a boat, you can dock it right outside and come up to eat. Being boatless and all, we got there the poor man's way. We still enjoyed the view, though (and the food)!

Those pictures are beautiful! The shark is a little disturbing...be safe! And you look so cute, Rach. It sounds so heavenly.

Looks like so much fun! That shark just looks like one of Scott's rubbersharks. Completely harmless I am sure! Yeah right! I would just stick to collecting shells if i were you :)

Looks like you're enjoying the beach. Amy thinks your hair is really cute. We're always looking for hair ideas for your twin Paige.

What?! Are you sure? It looks exactly like a shark. You should have seen the underside of his head... it was flat and he had eyes on the side just like a shark. Plus, they call them sand sharks
